Kelli
Hammond Hawkins is the owner of Salon 306 and a Master Cosmetologist. Kelli graduated from the Georgia Institute of Cosmetology and has
been in the hair industry for seven years. Kelli is trained in
several different techniques of hair extensions and has been doing
hair extensions since 2003. During and after graduating from
cosmetology school she apprenticed at a high-end salon in Gwinnett
County, then went to an upscale salon in Cumming, Ga. In June of 2005
she opened Salon 306 in her hometown of Cumming, Ga. Kelli firmly
believes in continuing education as she has traveled to many
locations in Georgia as well as out of the state for classes. In
October of 2007, she traveled to New York to the Redken Exchange
and passed an extremely difficult exam to become a Redken Certified
Haircolorist. She is now one of only 44 Master Cosmetologists in the
state of Georgia with this title! (three of the 44 are at Salon 306)
Kelli strives everyday to improve her skills as a hairstylist. She
also supports the community (which is the one she grew up in) by
helping local schools, businesses, and sports by donating products
and services to help with fundraising events. In her spare time she
enjoys spending time with her daughter (born May of 2007) and scrap
booking.
Angie
McIntosh has been a stylist for five years and has worked at Salon
306 since it first opened in June of 2005. Prior to her joining the
staff at Salon 306 Angie worked at a high-end salon in Roswell while
attending advanced color and cutting classes at The Process Advanced
Academy. Believing that continuing education in this industry is
imperative, Angie attends Redken’s bi-annual symposium held in Las
Vegas, Nevada. Here she networks with other salon professionals from
around the world and participates in training sessions designed to
keep stylists current on new trends in hair design, how they relate
to fashion, and the latest cutting edge techniques. Recently, Angie
top part in, and passed, an intensive testing process at the Redken
Exchange in New York City, which earned her the title of Redken
Certified Haircolorist. This achievement recognizes Angie’s
dedication to her profession and proficiency in the skills of hair
color. Angie is also accomplished the areas of cutting, administering
perms, and chemical straightening.
Sonja Ivey
has over seven years experience in cosmetology. Sonja has shown
excellence in many areas with a spectacular preference to vibrant and
trend setting colors. After studying under the guidelines of Toni &
Guy for three years, Sonja has excelled well above average with
color-correction and all chemical services. She can provide
extraordinary hairstyles that maintain modern images of style, show
eclectic texture and movement, and demonstrate professionalism
learned at technical colleges in both Florida and Georgia. Upon
completion of a standard level of education in master cosmetology,
Sonja has continued to further her experience with over fifty-two
continuing education courses based entirely on the development of
outstanding procedures for hairstyles. If you are looking for a new
look, correction a color that does not work for your style, or just
simply a European massage shampoo, you will enjoy your experience
with this dedicated hairdresser.
Stephanie
Rogers attended St. Peter Votec technical school. She started at the
age of 17 in the hair industry working with top stylists. Stephanie
has been a Master Cosmetologist for over 20 years and she is a
motivated individual that strives for perfection. She understands
communication skills are an extremely important asset in the hair
industry. Stephanie is a very talented stylist and has the ability to
please clients from the very young with stylish cuts and color, as
well as being able to make adult men and women look their best.
Tammy
Samples realized her passion for making people look and feel their
best while apprenticing at a salon in Dahlonega Ga. She entered
Lanier Technical College eager to learn and graduated as their FOAL
(Georgia Occupational Award of Leadership) student of the year. She
then went on to place in the top five in this competition for the
State of Georgia. After becoming a licensed Master Cosmetologist,
Tammy continued her education by attending classes in advanced
cutting, color techniques, and formulations, styling and formal hair
given by Redken, Matrix, Graham Webb, and Martin Parsons just to name
a few. While attending a Beth Minardi class on color, Tammy then
began to cultivate her passion for hair color. She then went to the
Redken New Your Exchange, and became one of their certified hair
colorists who included a stringent exam given by Redkens top
professionals. Tammy is also certified in the Japanese Thermal
Straightening system called Bio Ionics. Tammy is continuously
enhancing her education by attending classes on the latest styles and
trends. Her future plans are to become a certified colorist by the
American Board of Colorists.
Katie Glatezhoffer is a graduate of Rob Roy Academy in Massachusetts. She
has been a Master Cosmetologist for 18 years. Katie has advanced
training with Glodwell, Redken, Rusk and Aveda. Through the years
Katie has explored many opportunities within her profession. She took
part in opening a health and wellness center in N.H. where she was
able to utilize many of the skills she has learned over the years.
Katie found it extremely rewarding to not only make people look
better, but making them feel better as well. She has taken that
philosophy with her throughout her career and her life. Katie is one
of the newest team members to join Salon 306, recently getting
married and moving to Ga. She absolutely loves Cumming, Ga. but does
admit to missing the Red Sox and Patriot fans.
Brandi
Sailers attended Georgia Institute of Cosmetology in Northeast
Georgia and is a four-year professional as a Master Cosmetologist.
She has excelled in color, cut, and styling while earning trust and
respect of exclusive, repeat clientele. Brandi has taken her
education in color and cut to the forefront, having completed many
premier Redken and Aveda courses. Brandi is also an innovator in
up-do’s and make-up from conservative and elegant to dramatic and
daring. Her natural creativity and ability were realized very early
in her career. Several of her first up-do’! s were used in storefront
display and other advertising venues. Brandi is also a proud wife and
mother of three. She enjoys dancing, fashion and photography. Through
clothing, make-up, and especially hair, Brandi is always looking for
new creative avenues of expression. Adding her love and ability of
making others feel beautiful has paved the way for an esteemed career
in hair.
